We designed and built La Casa de Curia in 1992 as our own home. It was truly a labor of love. Built with local materials and the best local crews. This combination of affection and authenticity gives La Casa de Curia it’s special character. You feel it the moment you arrive.

In 2000 we moved to the Florida keys and in 2014 to the Big Island of Hawaii where we still reside. We felt it would be a shame for such a very special house to sit empty and unappreciated! We decided to share our great home with great people...people who will use La Casa de Curia as their home base for discovering the many hidden pleasures the area has to offer...

Every Year La Casa de Curia welcomes vacationing couples and families. Their warm letters assure us that each has had a special experience as guests in our lovely house.
We miss the peace and tranquility of our home and we know for sure that you will miss it too once you have experienced it. We hope you will return often.

The house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, two of the bedrooms have lofts that are extra sleeping areas. We made the kitchen the social center of the house and around it in one single room are the living and dinning areas.
